BRIEF HISTORY OF THE BUILDING
The building consists of ground floor or semibasement and two floors. The first one was dedicated former to flour mill and the other plants were a factory of wools and spinning. The whole building is L - shaped. Despite its current structure cannot be dated accurately, it is possible to state that it was built more than 200 years ago. According to quotations of the Municipal Archives of Albarracín, already in the XVI century was existing one building in this place. Apparently it could be the smaller, where we can find the main facade at the moment. This one was giving rise after several amplifications, which have been detected in the restoration, to the building in its current form.
At the back joining the vertexes of the mentioned "L" that make a triangle, there is a building constructed at the turn of the XIX century. It consist of ground floor, where it was located a little "batan" ( for beating and dyeing the wool), and the first floor was used as a store.
In the present time and after the restoration and adjustment for hotel, the reception and the cafeteria has been placed in the ground floor ( the former mill). In the former "batan" we can find the dining room, its back windows are faced directly to the river Guadalaviar and the front ones to the cárcabos of the former mill. On the top two plants, where it was located the factory of wools, we have the rooms of the hotel.
Outside of the building there are landscaped terraces, being its location favoured in full fertile plaine on the banks of the river. We can emphasize the vegetation, the water and the calm environment. Everything is only 500 metres far from the Major Square of the village.
